If you catch your reflection and notice rounded shoulders or a forward-leaning head, your posture is telling the story of too many hours at a desk. Yoga is one of the most effective ways to reverse it and stand tall again.
How it helps
Poor posture is a muscle imbalance: the chest and hip flexors get tight while the upper back and core get weak, pulling you into a slump. Yoga rebalances this by opening the tight front-body and strengthening the back and core that hold you upright. Over time your default posture actually changes, not just while you remember to sit up.
What a session includes
- Chest and hip-flexor opening to undo the slump
- Upper-back and core strengthening
- Body-awareness so good posture becomes natural
- Simple desk resets you can use during the day
